The wildcard stage is over, which means we know the 2 teams that proceeded to the European Development Championship Season 4 group stage. Teams such as Fiend and ex-Marlian have turned out to be the best and won their sides of the bracket. Starting June 9th, they are going to compete in the main event with a 30.000$ prize pool.
Team Fiend, which represents Bulgaria, had to defeat Save’s, GROND and Team Spirit Academy on their way. They didn’t lose a single map in those 3 best of three series, and the experience from players such as Simeon ‘dream3r’ Ganev, Viktor ‘v1c7oR’ Dyankov or Kamen ‘bubble’ Kostadinov helped them to compete at a very high level. They are currently placed at 26th position in the HLTV ranking.
Second spot was secured by ukrainian team ex-Marlian. On their way they faced FATE, 1win and LDLC which all seemed to be a very hard matchups. They won all of their games with a 2-0 result. Group stage of the main event starts on June 9th and will last for 10 days. Playoff stage is scheduled for June 24-27th, and a complete list of the main event participants will be announced soon.
