First day of group D is now over, which means that another quarter finalist is known. Sinners managed to win both of their matches and come out on top of their group after a very close decisive map in the final.

Sinners is a team representing Czech Republic that was founded at the beginning of 2020. Most of the players from the current roster have been there since then, and their most experienced player is Tomáš “oskar” Šťastný. At this moment, they are considered as a 35th team in the HLTV ranking, and it is the second time in a row that they won their group in the European Development Championship. Last time, they were eliminated in the semifinal by Sprout – current EDC champions.

In their matches during season 3, they faced Tarczyński Protein Team in the opening match, and then Turkish team Sangal in the final. It went all the way to the third map, where team representing Czech Republic managed to win the overtime and secure a 19-17 victory. Thanks to this win, they proceeded to the playoffs that will take place at the end of April. MVP titles went to Adam ‘NEOFRAG’ Zouhar and Tomáš ‘oskar’ Šťastný who showed an incredible individual performance during today’s series. Group D will continue on April 19th, and Tarczyński Protein Team, Budapest Five and Sangal will fight for another spot in the playoffs.
