After a whole day of competition, Sprout turned out to be the best team from their group and secured a spot in the quarterfinal. They had to face ex-ETHEREAL and Lyngby Vikings and won both of their matches.

Sprout are currently 21st team in the HLTV general ranking and second in their country – Germany. As an organization, they have been active since 2017 and the majority of their roster have been playing there for a while now. Two of the players, Marko “kressy” Đorđević and Fritz “slaxz” Dietrich  joined the team earlier this year, replacing polish players Dycha and Snatchie. Their most experienced player is Timo “Spiidi” Richter who represented such teams as PENTA Sports or mousesports. In their peak, they managed to be placed at 16th place in the ranking, which is a great success.

In the European Development Championship they won a very close 16-14 match against ex-ETHEREAL, and then faced Lyngby Vikings in the upper bracket final. Even though the team representing Germany lost the first map, they stayed focused and won the whole series with a 2-1 result after a great comeback on the last map. They proved that their mindset is right and that they won’t give up no matter what.

During their games all of the players played incredibly well, but the MVP titles went to Timo “Spiidi” Richter and Marko “kressy” Đorđević. Their opponents in the quarterfinal will be determined and announced soon
