On January 13, the group stage of the 7th season of the European Development Championship will begin. Sixteen teams, the best four from the Play-in phase and twelve invited teams, will fight for the knockout phase and the grand prize of $45,000, and a bootcamp in Malta.

GAM3RS_X and Eden Esports announced two new seasons of the European Development Championship last year, giving the teams currently in Europe a field to compete. The second season began on January 30, and on February 13 the group stage of the competition will begin. All European Development Championship matches will be streamed on Twitch on the Eden Esports channel. The following teams have been invited to the group stage:
