Last day of the group stage competition is now over, which means we know all of the quarter finalists. The list was completed by ENCE – winners of the group C decider match.
ENCE is a team with an international roster, currently placed at the 22nd position in the HLTV ranking. The organization has a long history, since it was founded in 2013 with Finnish roster representing it at the beginning. Their most experienced player is Aleksi ‘allu’ Jalli, who has represented such teams as Ninjas in Pyjamas or FaZe clan in the past. Three of their players have joined the roster at the very beginning of 2021 but they are already looking very strong as a team. It is their first appearance in the European Development Championship, and they have already reached the playoffs.
In their group matches they had to face GameAgents in the opener, and then SKADE in the group C final. Due to the defeat in this match, they fought with French team Double Poney for a quarter final spot in the decider match. Despite losing the first map, ENCE managed to come out on top of the series and will soon compete in the next phase of the tournament.
