The grand final of the fifth season of the European Development Championship is now over. Team K23 turned out to be the best out of all participants and got 17.500$ and a bootcamp in Malta as a prize.
It is the second time that they’ve won the championship title – they were placed at the 1st place during the first season of the tournament. On their way to getting the crown back, they had to face allStars, DBL Poney, ex-100PG, Infinite, 1WIN and Skade in the grand final. Out of those 6 matches they only lost 1 – against French roster of DBLPoney in the group C winners match.
In the grand final against Bulgarian team SKADE, they won their map pick in a pretty convincing way – 16:11. On the second map, they were defeated after an incredibly close match with a 14:16 result. During the last map, everything looked like the Bulgarians are going to get the title, but after a great comeback it was K23 winning 16:14 to get back on the throne. MVP title for the grand final went to David ‘n0rb3r7’ Danielyan.
